Would you like to make extra money to save for that "rainy day"? Why not consign your new and/or lovingly worn clothing and accessories with The Pink Poodle? It’s easy and can be very profitable for you! Bring your items in and we will price them and sell them for you. Here are some tried, true and treasured tips to keep in mind while preparing your items to sell! Following these tips ensures that your clothing and accessories will sell for the best price possible. - Clean…this means washed or dry cleaned if necessary. No stains and no odors of any kind, cigarette smoke, mildew, must or pet odors. No matter what the name brand is, how much the item cost new or how fashionable the item is, it won’t sell if it’s not clean. Think about it…would you buy clothing that is not clean?
- Who’s your best friend? In the world of consignment, it should be your iron! Wrinkled clothing won’t sell. Pressing your clothing should be the number one factor when preparing your clothing for resale. Your items will make lasting impressions if they are pressed and on hangers. There will be a surcharge of fifty cents per item if items must be pressed by the staff at The Pink Poodle.
- Holes belong in cheese, not your clothing! We will not accept items with holes, rips, tears or loose seams. Please take notice that we do notice this and we will REJECT all clothing that is not in great resale condition.
 Would you like to see your clothing on one of our mannequins, as one of our feature displays or possibly on our website? Only clothing and accessories that look fresh and new will make it in one of those spots. So take a few minutes to inspect your items carefully. Are all buttons there and secure? Any loose seams? Are hemlines falling out? If any of these things happening to your clothing? Fix them before you bring them in to consign. We want to have a long and happy consignment relationship with you. Presentation is everything in this business. Once you have checked to see if repairs are needed and you have made them, organize your clothing. If you are bringing in a multi piece outfit, please make sure that all pieces to the outfit are together.  Time....who has enough of it? If you would like to ensure that your consignment appointment is as brief as possible, please print a copy of our Consignment Agreement. Complete the agreement when you have a spare moment and bring it in with you for your scheduled appointment.
